Making farmers prosper through a timely supply of reliable, high-quality agricultural inputs and bringing the world’s best agriculture model to implementation is my prime goal. “Sahakar se Samrudhdhi” which is Progress through Cooperation is what he said he aspires to achieve.
Talking to Indian Cooperative Sanghani said “In India, about 65 to 70 % of the population is dependent on agriculture as well as cooperatives for their livelihood. Farmers play a key role in cooperatives. India is home to a considerable number of cooperatives’, My belief is, that together we will grow. My culture taught me
‘Vasudeva Kutumbakam’, that is, ‘the whole world is one family. I want to promote the world cooperative movement with this thought in mind.
He also laid emphasis on Women empowerment and Youth participation and said I will ensure greater access for women in cooperatives and gender and equality at the heart of cooperative contributions to sustainable development. India is a nation of youth, so we plan every step accordingly. We can develop the best model for youths globally. Cooperatives can offer a better future to young people, underlined Sanghani.
India is a peace-loving country, never in favor of war. I firmly believe war is not an answer to the problem. I like to quote that the meaning of ‘cooperative’ is to live with cooperation, asserted Sanghani.
He also recounted the special contributions by Amul, IFFCO, KRIBHCO, NAFED, NCUI, etc. during the Covid outbreak and said they have shown the strength of the cooperative model to the world. I firmly believe in democracy. Being elected by people is a greater responsibility towards society, where people believe in you, concluded Sanghani.
