Dame Pauline Green President of the international cooperative movement has lately been trenchantly critical of the former head of the Co-operative Group, Euan Sutherland for messing up things in the organization.
She has spewed her particular anger at his refusal to have necessary consultation with the members of the organization before taking important decisions. Green has also made barbed comments on Sutherland’s view of the cooperative movement and his style of functioning as the head of the organization.
According to Green, Sutherland’s hopelessly inept performance also created suspicion and mistrust between members and management. Green puts down the group’s all problems to what she terms ‘culture clash” fomented by Sutherland.
Green has promised to do all in her power to repair the harm inflicted by Sutherland on the organization. The president of the international cooperative movement went ballistic against Sutherland also in her comments published recently in the British daily Guardian.
