Skill India: NCCE trains women co-operators

NCCE of NCUI recently conducted a Leadership Development Programme for Chairpersons and Directors of women cooperatives for different States of the country at New Delhi for upgradation of their managerial and entrepreneurship skills.

Participants coming from across the states took part in the program with zeal and enthusiasm. They also got a platform to interact among themselves and discuss the challenges and issues involved in cooperative activities.

The programme had been tailored as a training capsule for women cooperatives.

Inaugurating the event, N. Satyanarayana, Chief Executive, NCUI said cooperatives are playing an important role in increasing the income of women by involving them in their different activities.

During the programme, experts and faculty members of NCCE discussed topics relevant to women and cooperatives.

In his valedictory remarks, Dr V K Dubey, Director, NCCE said the participants may use the knowledge gained in their work places for better prospects.

Mrs Veena Sachdeva, Assistant Director, coordinated the programme.
