National Center for Cooperative Education [NCCE] recently trained the personnel of IFFCO Plant, Paradeep (Orissa) and KRIBHCO Plant, Hazira Gujarat. The objective of the training program to sensitize the participants to the management procedures and the working environment of cooperative organisations to ensure their improved performance and productivity, says a press release sent by NCUI to Indian cooperative.
The topics like motivation and productivity of employees at work place, dynamics of cooperative management, special features of cooperative organisation differences between private and public sectors, cooperative thoughts, cooperative values viz-a-viz human values, cooperative identity were taught.
Subjects such as principles and its application in cooperative functioning, cooperative management with a special focus on IFFCO/KRIBHCO, growth & trends of cooperative movement, agriculture, input supply and extension services of IFFCO/KRIBHCO for agriculture and rural development, Multi State Cooperative Society Act and constitutional amendment etc were also discussed at length during the training program.
In addition, the lack of appropriate policies preventing cooperative organisations from effectively putting their issues before the govt. and their entities and the development of a positive working culture of personnel in organisations were also discussed.
Both inaugural and valedictory ceremonies were attended by scores of officials from IFFCO & KRIBCHO. The participants had a positive feedback to the training program and wanted more such programs with a longer span to be held.
