NCCE of NCUI recently conducted a three-day Leadership Development Program for Chairpersons and Directors of Rajasthan Mahila Cooperatives.
It was a syllabus tailored to the objectives of improving their managerial skills and ensuring supply of clean milk at their village dairies.
About 55 women leaders attended the programs and completed successfully. The program was organised through Webex due to the COVID 19 a pandemic, says a press release.
Dr V.K. Dubey, Executive Director, NCCE informed the participants about the significance of Dairy cooperatives and their effective role in the dairy development in India. Dubey also discussed Cooperative Values and Principles.
Mrs. Vimlesh Rathore Deputy Director NCDC anchored the session on Dairy Development Schemes of NCDC for Cooperative Development.
The training program witnessed inspiring lectures by Dr Bhushan Tyagi, Dy. Commissioner, AHDD, Govt. of India on Schemes and Policies of Govt for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development and Cooperative Management focusing on Dairy Cooperatives.
With the changing times and requirements of the cooperative sector, discussions were also held on digitalisation for the participants in order to make them comfortable with online transactions and online marketing.
The Program had lectures and guidance offered by Ms. Surekha Khot, Member, Women Empowerment Committee of the apex co-op body.
The program concluded with experience sharing among the participants. The participants appreciated the efforts of NCCE and topics covered during the program.
