NCCE conducted ‘Trainers Training Programme’ for Cooperative Education Personnel of State and District Cooperative Unions and Faculty Members of JCTC of India last week in New Delhi.
About 21 participants from Madhya Pradesh, Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Telangana and Tamil Nadu attended the programme.
The objective of the programme was to understand the importance of training in cooperative organizations, design need based training programmes, effective teaching methods, evaluation of teaching, qualities and functions of the trainers, effective communication, inter-personal skill, optimal utilization of the resources available for training, implement training programmes systematically & professionally.
Besides, project preparation and diversification of business, psychological characteristics of adult learning and new schemes and policies of the Government of India & State Governments for development of the cooperative sector including recent changes in cooperative law and its effect among cooperatives were discussed in detail.
While inaugurating the event ,Dr. V. K. Dubey, Director, NCCE, said all State Cooperative Unions need to acquaint their personnel with the training programmes in a systematic way so that they can work in a professional manner. Training is the tool for solving problems facing cooperatives as well as enhancing the skill of Board of Directors and employees.
N. Satya Narayana, Chief Executive, NCUI in his remarks on the occasion said State Cooperative Unions need to play their legitimate role in implementing the ideas generated by training programmes in a professional manner. NCUI provides all support for an effective implementation of the training programmes, Satya Narayna added.
Experts from the Government of India and several renowned institutions focused on systematic approach for effective training, inter-personal communication skill, development of different training methods, structure and functioning of cooperative education, team-building, evaluation methods, project preparation and diversification of business, schemes and policies of the government of India.
As part of the training programme, the participants visited KRIBHCO (the leading Fertiliser Cooperative of India), Noida, where they interacted with the top officials of the fertiliser cooperative.
