National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) of NCUI recently held a training prograame for the personnel of IFFCO on Cooperation and Cooperative Management at IFFCO Plant, Phulpur (Uttar Pradesh). About twenty five participants attended the programme.
Nakul Srivastav, Executive Director, IFFCO Plant, Phulpur inaugurated the programme. In his opening remarks, he said training is important as it helps in upgrading the knowledge of the employees. He thanked NCUI for organizing such programmes.
R V. Maite, DGM (Technical / Training), Subroto Sur, Senior Manager and Training Head, Anurag Tiwari, Dy. Manager (Training) were present on the occasion and expressed their views.
Dr. S.L. Tripathi, Ex-Professor, NCCT (NCUI) underlined the importance of training saying it is an investment not an expenditure.
A galaxy of experts discussed topics such as Cooperative Thoughts, Concept and Growth in India, Cooperative Identity, Principles, Values and & its Applications in Cooperative Functioning and Special Features of a Cooperative Organisation Differentiate from Private and Public Sector,
Issues such as Problems and Challenges before Cooperative Movement in India, Salient Features of Multi State Cooperative Societies Act, 2002, 97th Constitutional Amendment, Cooperative Management with Special Reference of IFFCO, Role of Cooperative in Rural Development, Agriculture inputs Supply and Extension Services of IFFCO for Agriculture Development etc. also came up for discussion.
Dr. V. K. Dubey, Director, NCCE coordinated the programme and urged participants to apply the knowledge they have gained at their work place.
