National Centre for Cooperative Education (NCCE) of NCUI conducted a training Programme on Cooperation and Cooperative Management for Officers of IFFCO at IFFCO Sadan, Saket, New Delhi for development of their managerial skills with a special focus on Cooperative Management and the role of employees. There were 34 participants.
The objective of the programme was to equip the officers with the knowledge of cooperative principles and Act & Rules so that they can perform better. Programme was tailored as a training capsule.
Addressing the participants D.K. Dhamija, Senior Manager, IFFCO said Education & Training is a continuous process and a very important tool for improving their capacity for better performance. They said the Cooperative Fertilizer sector is playing an important role in green revolution in India by providing fertilizer, pesticides and new technology to the farmers.
Discussions offered by the faculty members of NCCE were focused on a gamut of topics including Principles and Values of Cooperation and their application, Special features of cooperatives organizations, Cooperative Management with special focus on IFFCO, salient features of the Multi-State Cooperative Societies Act 2002 as well as an overview of the cooperative movement in India.
In his valedictory remarks, V.K. Dubey, Director NCCE said the knowledge gained by the participants must be utilized in their work places for better results. Anant Dubey, Assistant Director, NCCE coordinated the programme.
