Former chief executive of NCUI the apex body of cooperatives and a well known face at National and International level in the cooperative world Dr Dinesh died of a massive heart attack Tuesday night in Delhi. He served NCUI for 5 years.
It is reported that Tuesday night when he was back home, he went for dinner and after taking meal, Dinesh had a severe heart pain.
Dinesh was taken to a nearby Bhagwati Hospital in Mehrauli where doctors referred him to Max Hospital. He was brought dead to the Max hospital .
He had played an important role in improving the NCUI and his efforts had paid him international recognition. Dinesh, the man responsible for organizing the 16th Indian Cooperative congress in June, 2013 when Pranab Mukherjee, Hon’ble President of India, Sharad Pawar, former Union Minister of Agriculture and Food Processing Industry, Govt. of India had attended the cooperative show.
Readers would recall that Dr Dinesh Mishra was on deputation as Advisor in All India Council of Technical Education. Originally, he was deputy Registrar of Sanskrit Vidya Peeth under Union HRD Ministry. A man with wide exposure and learning, he was earlier with Steel Authority of India and had garnered impressive experiences in cooperative matters.
The cremation was attended by NCUI Vice President Dr Bijendra Singh, Chief Executive N Satyanarayan, Mohan Mishra, IFFCO, DGM, Tarun Bhargava and several employees of the apex body.
