The 4 day TTT programme for the faculty members of RICMs and ICMs which began on 15th June, at NCUI concluded on Thursday i.e.18th june. The valedictory function was held with Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav, President, NCUI & Chairman, NCCT as Chief Guest.
In his address Dr. Chandra Pal Singh Yadav stressed the importance of TTT for the faculty members of RICMs and ICMs in order to equip them with the latest techniques of training system, methodology and evaluation. Yadav called on them to apply the knowledge and skills learnt during the programme in conducting training programmes in their respective institutions.
He congratulated participants on the completion of the programme. He also distributed certificates to them. Promod Kumar Singh, Chairman, ICM, Dehradun also attended the programme.
Earlier while welcoming the Chairman Mohan Kumar Mishra, Secretary, NCCT presented a brief account of the programme. He made mention of the fact that altogether 20 faculty members of RICMs and ICMs participated in the programme.
The latter was organized by the NCCT in collaboration with ISTD Dehi Chapter & TRANC with a view to providing opportunity to the faculty members of NCCT to acquire an in-depth knowledge of training and development.
The 4 day programme covered various topics such as systematic approach to training, adult learning principles, role of trainers, training identification, training methodology, designing and delivering programmes and post training evaluation. The programme sessions had been conducted by Dr. Nanditesh Nilay, Programme Director and resources persons Wg Cdr Mansoor Siddiqui , Director, Foster Training Services, Dr. Upinder Dhar, Gr. Addl. Vice Chancellor, Amity Univeristy, New Delhi, Sh. Govind Rajulu, joint Director, ISTM, New Delhi.
Apart from classroom interactive sessions, the trainers used other teaching techniques such as group activities, exercises, case studies and games.
While giving their feedback, the participants expressed their gratitude to the NCCT authorities for organising such programmes for the faculty members. They felt this programme would definitely enhance their performance in designing training programmes at their respective institutes. It is worth mentioning that the programme was inaugurated by the Minister of State for Agriculture, Shri Mohanbai Kalyanjibhai Kundariya.
