A two-day training programme on Cooperation and Cooperative Management for senior officials of IFFCO Aonla Plant near Bareilly was recently organised by National Centre for Cooperative Education at the premises of IFFCO Aonla Plant, according to a release issued by NCCE.
Around 30 senior officials of IFFCO Aonla Plant attended the programme.
Opening the programme, G. K. Gautam, Sr General Manager, IFFCO Aonla Unit highlighted the virtues of cooperative concept and described IFFCO as a role model for other cooperatives.
The IFFCO senior general manager called upon IFFCO”s functionaries to be aware of the principles, values, and organisational structure of cooperatives to understand the significance of cooperative culture. He stressed on transparent governance of cooperative societies to bring in professionalism in their working.
Dr V.K. Dubey, Director, NCCE in his opening remarks talked about the significance of the programme ,and hoped that the participants would implement the key learning points of the programme in their work.
The programme comprehended issues such as cooperative development , cooperative principles and values, difference between cooperatives and private enterprises, trends in cooperative development in India, formation of cooperatives, etc.
