The Chief Executive Anita Manchanda’s resignation drama continues to haunt NCUI till date. Quick on the heels of the Governing Council meeting of NCUI, she reportedly expressed her desire to quit. But later she joined after the President Mr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav reportedly asked her to continue.

According to reliable sources it has been known that she wants to retire after getting the pay and position of Chief Executive on which she worked for nearly two years. NCUI is finding it difficult to accommodate her wish. First, she had never been regularized in her job and secondly she was just an executive director. NCUI argues that she cannot claim the pension benefits of Chief Executive.

Her retirement as Chief Executive would make a difference of Rs 25 thousand in her monthly pension. Her pressure tactics, meanwhile continues.

Talking to India Cooperative.com she said that she would quit the day the new Chief Executive would join, though the exercise of packing her personal belongings continues at the Siri Fort road office of NCUI .

According to sources the new Chief Executive Dinesh Mishra is likely to join on 8th April.

During her stint as acting Chief Executive she took many decisions and some of them are not reportedly above board. The issue of recruitment of 46 lectures in NCUI’s training colleges has reportedly  attracted PMO’ attention.
