Following into the footsteps of NCUI, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union organized an online cooperative training for the cooperatives of the state in two sessions, which saw participation of more than fifty co-operators.
Inaugurating the event, Satyanarayan Sharma, MLA and a Governing Council member of apex national co-op body NCUI said “Training of government, non-governmental, cooperatives and all other institutions has become a challenge during the time of the corona epidemic. Training from video conferencing is the compulsion of all to tackle this problem.”
Sharma said it is necessary to make people of the cooperative sector aware of financial discipline, process of cooperative legislation and proper maintenance of accounts. The State Cooperative Union has done a good job by introducing it through online training, he added.
Addressing the participants through video conferencing on the occasion, Chhattisgarh State Cooperative Union President Jhunmun Gupta said that in the coming days, online training would become more simple, economical and suitable for each of us. District cooperative unions should move in this direction, Gupta said.
“The State Cooperative Union is ready for every kind of guidance. National Cooperative Union of India, New Delhi has already started training through video conferencing in the wake of the Corona scare”, Gupta said.
Gupta also exhorted co-op bodies related to education and training to come forward in this direction and extended all help possible by the state co-op union.
Managing Director and Deputy Registrar of State Cooperative Union NRK Chandravanshi said that by getting online training, all cooperatives can carry forward the work of their organization.
A total of 67 people received training through the Siska Webex app. About 23 cooperative institutions in Balod district availed free training, claimed a press release.
Chhattisgarh state government also took an active part in the training and expressed gratitude to the State Cooperative Union for organizing a successful video conference-based training.
The online training was conducted in two sessions. In the first session of the training, “Need for Education Training in Cooperation” was taken up while in the second session, “The importance of online training in today’s era” was imparted.
The chief executive officer along with others of the State Cooperative Union including VK Shukla, Rajesh Sahu and Bhagbali Sahu participated and conducted the training program, read a press release sent by the co-op union.
