Deepak Nagar Director in-charge of Chandigarh ICM gave a power point presentation on the activities of the institute on the occasion of the arrival of Government of India Additional Secretary Dr Dalip Singh in the institute.
Dr.B.S.Rohilla, Director of National Council for Cooperative Training, New Delhi and who had accompanied Dr Singh expounded at length the organizational setup and activities of NCCT. He did not forget to boast that in a recent survey conducted by NIRD, Hyderabad NCCT is credited for its good performance and good governance.
Dr.Dalip Singh showed lot of interest in the presentation and got introduced to the faculty members and the participants of the ongoing training programmes in the institute i.e. Programme on Dairy Cooperative Development and Management for the officers of Dept Of Animal Husbandry, J & K, Programmes on Business diversification and Profit Planning for Branch Managers of Banks.
Participants also shared their experience and feedback regarding training programmes. They expressed that they are contented with stay arrangements and the training module of the programmes.
Rajinder Sharma, Chairman, RICM Management Committee thanked Dalip Singh and said GOI policies and their implementation has given great momentum to Cooperative movement in the country. He said that it is a matter of pride for the institute Dr Singh has taken the pain to visit the RICM.
In his address Dr Dalip Singh expressed happiness and appreciated Chairman, RICM Management Committee and Director, RICM for organizing quality training programmes in good numbers in the institute.
I have visited VAMNICOM, ICM, Nagpur and Hyderabad-all these institutions are doing good job in organizing training programmes, he added.
