A director of Beed District Central Cooperative Bank (BDCCB) Ramrao Aaghav who had recently resigned was arrested by the city Police in Beed in connection with a cheating case.
Superintendent of Police Dattatrya Mandlik told that the former director of BDCCB, Ramrao Aaghav was arrested in connection with BDCCB cheating case.
Earlier, former vice chairman of BDCCB, Dashrath Wanve, was also arrested on the charge of disbursing loans to bogus co-operatives. He too had resigned recently.
On October 28, ten directors of the bank, including nine from NCP, submitted their resignation alleging irregularities in the bank.
“Almost, all directors of BDCCB have resigned. There were 25 directors on the BDCCB.
