Two days programme on “Arbitration proceedings in cooperatives” was organized for the government officials of Himachal Pradesh by the Regional Institute for Cooperative Management, Chandigarh.
The retired senior officials from cooperative department from Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan delivered their expertise lecturers on arbitration legal provisions and guidelines, awards and judgment writing etc.
S.N.Arora Deputy Registrar Cooperative Societies (Retd.) from Haryana presented and deliberated about the “Arbitration legal provisions and its guidelines.”
Anil Oberoi, Additional Registrar (Retd.) from Rajasthan discussed about the recovery of dues through arbitration proceeding.
Mandeep Walia, faculty of Business Management coordinated this programme. She took the feed- back of the participants on this training wherein participants appreciated this programme in improving their working for discharging such responsibilities.
Deepak Nagar, Director I/C RICM, Chandigarh welcomed chief guest Rajinder Sharma, chairman RICM, Chandigarh on joining the valedictory session and throw light on the activities and programmes conducted by this RICM.. He highlighted the importance of training for the development of cooperatives.
Sharma in his address formally greeted the participants for the new year 2014 and expressed satisfaction over the feed-back of participants on this training. He said that such training programmes provide an opportunity for the participants to share their experiences and update their knowledge which definitely improve their working in departmental functioning.
