When IFFCO & NCUI jointly spread awareness!

Emerging as a unique unifier of cooperators on one platform IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi enlisted the support of NCUI President Chandra Pal Singh Yadav in his visit to Jhansi-a sleepy town of Uttar Pradesh and home to Yadav.

Continuing his Kisan Yatra, IFFCO Managing Director Dr Uday Shankar Awasthi moved to Jhansi city of Uttar Pradesh his 17th destination and NCUI’s Chairman Dr Chandra Pal Singh Yadav’s home district. Yadav was the chief guest on the occasion.

“Welcomed the NCUI President and Rajya Sabha member Chandra Pal Singh Yadav in the Farmers Cooperative Seminar on the occasion of IFFCO Golden Jubilee”, Awasthi wrote on twitter.

Chandra Pal who was busy till recently in the washed-out winter session of Parliament had himself come to Jhansi after a long time. The duo Yadav and Awasthi jointly inaugurated the cooperative conference and met the farmers of Jhansi.

Speaking to the farmers Awasthi said IFFCO will connect farmers directly to digital technology and make them aware of the benefits of cashless transactions.

Later on, he visited Jhansi fort with Chandra Pal Singh and a few cooperators from the town. In his tweet he wrote “Spent some time with history. Visited #Jhansi fort today with Sh. Chandrapal Yadav, MP & Chairman @ncuicoop & cooperators”.

Later talking to Indian Cooperative Chandra Pal congratulated Awasthi for his efforts and thanked him for visiting Jhansi. “There is an urgent need to educate our farmers on issues such as soil health and cashless transaction”, Yadav underlined.
