Indian Farmers Fertilizer Cooperative Limited has opened 100 centers of IFFCO Bazar where farmers can buy fertilizers, seeds, agro chemicals, pesticides, agricultural inputs under one roof across the nation, announced its Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi during his “Sahakarita Kisan Yatra” in Mysore city of Karnataka last week. Awasthi said time has come to enhance cooperative business big way.
Sharing this on social media he wrote “Congratulations to team #IFFCOeBazar for crossing 100centers across #India, More to come. One stops solution for #farmers & service by #IFFCO”. IFFCO aims to reach out to remote areas through this Bazar. A number of such Bazars are being opened across states. Kisan Bazar is aimed at providing a one stop shop for farmers.

During his 39th destination to the city of Karnataka, IFFCO MD inaugurated the farmer’s exhibition and participated in his now popular selfie session where scores of farmers vied among themselves to take selfie with him.
A day before his tour to Mysore, IFFCO held its 4th board meeting in Bangalore since the launch of the Kisan Yatra. MD exhorted the Board members and elected Directors to get involved more and more in the celebrations which are slated to continue for the entire year.
IFFCO Director and eminent senior cooperator K Srinivasa Gowda was also present on this occasion. Gowda also addressed the assembly of farmers and cooperators.
IFFCO MD also put emphasis on woman participation in cooperative. He tweeted the same “Met many #women #cooperators in #hassan area. #IFFCO will support & help in forming new women cooperatives. #50yearsofIFFCO, Awasthi wrote on his twitter wall. Hassan was his 37th destination.
