Addressing farmers at Ghazipur, Union Minister Manoj Sinha said farmers are feeding the whole country and their welfare is crucial to the country’s progress. The govt has launched several policies to help them and it is encouraging to note that IFFCO and its Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi are also doing their best to help them, the union minister said.
The minister praised IFFCO’s digital platform and advocated its spread throughout the country. The IFFCO digital platform is aimed to connect 4 crore farmers in India and the website traffic, iffcobazar.in ranks high among shops launched across the world.
Ghazipur was the 94th destination covered by IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi. The place saw a huge turnout of farmers numbering more than 3000. MD displayed exemplary patience and met each of them one on one. “Met each of them personally”, he later tweeted.
