A mega cooperative conference is going to be organized on 25 September 2021 at Indira Gandhi Indoor Stadium in New Delhi. Union Cooperation Minister Amit Shah will address the people associated with the cooperative in the first of its kind show under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of “Sahakar se Samriddhi”, reads a late evening press release from the newly created PR dept of Union Cooperation Ministry.
The release states “On this occasion, Minister of State for Cooperation, B. L. Verma and the President of International Cooperative Alliance (Global), Dr. Ariel Guarco will be present. More than 2000 cooperative members from across the country will be present in person and crores of cooperative people from all over the world will join the program virtually.”
Earlier, DG (Media & Communication) Nitin D Wakankar along with his deputy Raj Kumar, ADG, and IFFCO officials briefed media persons about the event at India Habitat Centre.
This program will be telecast live on 25 September 2021 from 11 am onwards on the official social media platforms of IFFCO, National Cooperative Federation of India, Amul, Sahakar Bharti, NAFED, KRIBHCO and other mediums and millions of people from India and abroad are expected to watch this program, reads a press release on the issue.
Recently, under the leadership of the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi, the Ministry of Cooperation has been formed and the reins of the ministry have been handed over to Amit Shah. The core mantra of the Ministry of Cooperation is to strengthen the cooperative movement in the country, provide a separate administrative, legal, and policy framework, and streamline the processes to enable the development of Multi-State Cooperative Societies (MSCS).
The Ministry of Cooperation will definitely do unprecedented work to implement the dream of Prime Minister Modi ji of ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’, states the release.
This cooperative conference is being organized by India’s leading cooperative organizations IFFCO, National
Dr. Ariel Guarco, President of the International Cooperative Alliance (Global), is also joining to accelerate and strengthen the campaign of Indian cooperatives. Around 3 million cooperatives from 110 countries of the world are associated with the International Cooperative Alliance (Global).
This conference will play an important role in strengthening Indian cooperatives on the global stage. It will also work towards realizing the aim of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi ji’s ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
