IFFCO Director R P Singh came face to face with ground realities concerning farmers during a trip to remote areas of Bihar. In a frank admission he noted that the much-touted schemes of the govt are yet to percolate down to the needy.
In a series of tweets Singh said neither the soil health card nor the Jan Dhan scheme has benefitted even a single farmer in the areas he visited. R.P Singh tweet read “Talked to many farmers. They opened Jan Dhan Account with high hopes. But no benefit has so far been transferred to their accounts.”
