The fertilizer cooperative IFFCO’s new office at Kolkata, West Bengal was inaugurated by its Chairman Dileepbhai Sanghani in the presence of managing director Dr U S Awasthi and other senior officers. Nano Urea is a step towards AtmaNirbhar Bharat, said Sanghani on the occasion.
Interestingly, the co-op titan IFFCO achieves the distinction of producing three crore Nano Urea bottles on the same day, leading its MD to tweet “A Big Day today as IFFCO surpassed the production of 3 Crore bottles of truly Make In India innovative environment friendly world’s 1st IFFCO Nano Urea for the farmers across world.”
Soon after the inauguration, Sanghani and his team took a complete tour of the newly built IFFCO Bhawan in Kolkata. The engineers, architects, and the entire team behind this project explained each & every aspect of this building to everyone.
“IFFCO has constructed the majestic building in the heart of Kolkata city. Though it was supposed to be completed earlier but due to Covid-19, there was a delay. The new office will definitely become a hub point for the farmers of the state”, said Sanghani to the Indian cooperative soon after the function.
On the occasion, IFFCO Board Member and Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation & Panchayati Raj Dr. M V Rao (IAS) addressed the gathering and shared his views on IFFCO and its services to farmers and cooperatives.
In his speech, IFFCO Marketing Director Yogendra Kumar apprised the gathering of various products & services given by IFFCO to farmers. He also informed about Specialty Fertilisers and IFFCO Nano Urea, Its availability & advantages.
Later on, sharing the news through social media, the IFFCO MD wrote, “Inauguration of new office complex in the new building at New Town, Kolkata. We also did the Puja Archana & took blessings from Lord Ganesha before moving inside the new office”.
