Jammu &Kashmir is the pride of the nation and it is IFFCO’s endeavor to connect the state in a strong cooperative network, said IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi during his 73rd Connect Campaign in Jammu.
Awasthi along with his team reached Jammu to a warm reception by the locals. Before embarking on his ambitious project of inculcating a digital way of life among the farmers of the state he went to seek blessings of Ma Viashnav Devi.

It bears recall the Dr U S Awasthi is touring whole of India and meeting each and every farmer who happens to come to the meeting. In Jammu also he talked to hundreds of them by going up to them and trying to know their issues both in farming and in their lives.
Several women who came to hear him were greeted by the MD. Later a group photograph was organized for all of them along with the MD.
Medical check-ups were also organized and farmers were educated on how to keep oneself alert about basic health issues.
The locally grown dance and music was also organized on this occasion. Awasthi also felicitated several senior cooperators and farmers with IFFCO shawl. He vowed to strengthen the cooperative movement in the state. Several young farmers were encouraged to start doing mobile-banking personally by the MD.
IFFCO team had come to Jammu after having wound up a successful tour of Shimla.
