It is not for nothing that IFFCO excels in the co-op way of doing business. Once again, IFFCO’s production units have achieved their production targets for the month of September and cheering them on from the front is none other than its MD Dr U S Awasthi.
Out of five production units, MD tweets about three and congratulates their unit heads for the efforts. “Congratulations to IFFCO Kalol Unit @dginamdar & his entire team for achieving the given production targets of #ammonia and #urea for the month #Sep2018. Good plant performance”, were the encouraging words of Awasthi.
In India IFFCO has five production units and they are Kalol, Kandla, Paradeep, Aonla and Phulpur. It has several overseas units also including OMIFCO, ICS(Senegal), JIFCO, etc.
Similarly he congratulated IFFCO Paradeep Unit head A K Panda and his team for achieving the given production targets of Sulphuric & Phosphoric acid. IFFCO Aonla Unit head G K Gautam also received MD’s appreciation for achieving the given production targets of ammonia and urea for the month of September 2018.
No wonder, IFFCO posted the highest ever profit crossing Rs 1200 mark and announced a dividend of 20 percent yet again – the 17th time in a row during its 47th Annual General meeting held in May this year.
The continuous efforts of the Team IFFCO bring smiles on the faces of farmers and share-holders alike, said a cooperator. Hundreds of shareholders from across the country count themselves lucky to be associated with IFFCO. It was succinctly expressed by Gopal Sarawagi, an IFFCO delegate from Bihar who said” IFFCO has given us many times the amount invested.”
Indian Cooperative salutes such heroes of cooperatives who fashion professional ethics and engineering excellence to prove how co-ops are truly beneficial to society.
