The IFFCO Board meeting scheduled for Wednesday saw hectic activities as video-conferencing with Mitsubishi Corp made each Director excited and optimistic about the future of the cooperative giant.
“Mitsubishi is a name to reckon with and we were introduced to the top executives of the Company sitting in Japan through the Video-Conferencing”, said one of the elected Directors to Indian Cooperative.
Another Director Sheespal said “ yes the deal has been done with us(IFFCO) having 51 percent stake in the JV. Farmers could now have peace of mind as the quality of our product is always reliable”. And farmers of the country know this, added Sheesh Pal with a touch of pride.
IFFCO MD Dr US Awasthi was active on twitter since the forenoon informing his followers of the positive development. First he tweeted “#IFFCO’s strength in #cooperatives & #MitsubishiCorporation’s expertise in #agrochemicals. It’s Quality to farmers.”
