Like Rome IFFCO was not also built in a day and to keep the cooperative behemoth going strong it needs dollops of inspiration. IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi knows this and plays his part from time to time.
A great advocate of social media Awasthi uses it extensively to communicate with his team. His latest tweet on team-building has evoked myriad responses.
Using the medium of twitter the MD has asked his colleagues to be warm and cooperative to each other. It calls for mutual support for each other to build an effective team, he added.
“To strengthen a #team, be friends as well as workmates, have camaraderie, be open with each other, and offer #mutual support. #Team Building,” read MD’s tweet.
It led to a debate among his followers if Indians are cursed to excel individually and perish collectively. One Mr R C Tiwari tweeted” @drusawasthi now time to overcome the impression about Indians that Indians are individually good but not as a team.”
Others felt happy that because of MD’s leadership there is an atmosphere of brotherhood and each is contributing their best and supporting team-mates. One of his followers tweeted “Sir You are a true Leader who has shown us the way to work as a dedicated team to take the IFFCO to greater heights”.
Some of the followers thanked him profusely for sharing inspiring words as one said ”Sir, well said; highly motivating and encouraging thoughts”. Another said “Always you have developed new approach and vision in life. A third said ‘@drusawasthi ji Looking forward to getting many more practical ideas from you to learn and grow.wonderful.”
