The Managing Director of the largest farmers’ cooperative IFFCO has hailed the massage of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that he wrote to the citizens on the eve of completion of one year of NDA rule.
Dr U S Awasthi said that PM’s massage was full with positive energy and was inspirational. Dr. U S Awasthi (@drusawasthi) tweeted “ #great to read our PM msg it is full with positive energy and inspirational.”
In his speech, among other things Modi touched on the issue of farm and farmers – the input of a cooperative. Earlier speaking at a rally in Mathura he gave details of the various schemes launched by his government for farmers. He spoke at length about the soil health cards introduced by the ruling alliance, the decision to modernise fertiliser plants and the move to coat urea with neem so that the fertiliser cannot be stolen for use in chemical factories.
IFFCO and Awasthi have been precisely dealing in these matters and no prime minister ever in the past showed such as keen interest in these matters as do Modi, said a senior IFFCO Director explaining MD’s fancy for the PM’s speech.
In his indomitable manner Modi began his massage “ One year ago, you had entrusted me with the responsibility and honour of serving you as your Pradhan Sevak. I have devoted every moment of every day, and every element of my body and spirit, in fulfilling the same with fullest sincerity and honesty.”
He went on listing the achievements of his govt such as runaway prices were immediately brought under control, the languishing economy was rejuvenated, discretionary allotment of precious natural resources scrapped etc.
However, media and Opposition have been critical and said the NDA govt is nervous for being not able to deliver according to peoples’ high expectation and thus this media blitzkrieg.
