Later tweeting about the trip he said “Today spent time in #IFFCO Aonla unit. Very impressed to find excellent performance in production, safety, housekeeping, #environment &greenery”.
On the occasion he also interacted with the media and spoke about rationalizing fertilizer prices, wrote on Face Book IFFCO’s media-handler Harshendra Vardhan along with a photograph.
Besides taking part in the working of the plant, IFFCO MD also find time to participate in the cultural and social occasions as he tweeted “#Cultural programme of our own employees wife and children for worshiping Maa Durga was vibrating at #IFFCO Aonla.”
He also motivated IFFCO employees and specially their children to participate in the swatch Bharat campaign to be launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the 2nd of October. IFFCO has already committed to donate Rs 10 crore to GOI in this bid.
Right from the inception of the project, IFFCO-Aonla-I has achieved several milestones in record time.
Aonla-I project was completed in a record time of 36 months and started commercial production in 42months from the zero date.
The implementation of Aonla-I project has been taken as a model for future fertiliser projects by Government of India. IFFCO Aonla-I has also bagged two prestigious national awards – one for best project implementation (second prize) from Ministry of Programme implementation, Govt. of India and other for technical film “New Horizons – Aonla project” from Fertiliser Association of India (FAI) in the year 1989.
