Displaying an inexhaustible amount of energy, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi is touring one manufacturing plant after the other in a row. Starting with Aonla, he visited Kalol and is currently in Kandla.
The IFFCO MD inspects the operations of the manufacturing plant, quality of raw material and meets up with engineers to know their problems. He also bucks them up in the process.
On Thursday, the MD was at the IFFCO Kandla in Odisha, said IFFCO PR Head Harshendra Singh Verdhan. “Besides other things, he also inspected DAP Bagging in the bagging plant of Kandla Unit”, said Harsh. Later the MD himself tweeted “We make sure that good quality DAP fertilizer should reach well in time for our farmers”.
Awasthi took a round of Complex Fertiliser (DAP Plant) at Kandla and inspected on the spot the DAP Fertiliser material for its quality. He expressed satisfaction saying “I found it quite satisfactory. We at the IFFCO are working hard to give materials to our farmers.”
“It is not an easy task to give the best quality with quantity. Kudos to our engineers, workers, and operators and all those who are behind this very important soil nutrient”, were the inspiring words of Dr Awasthi for engineers at Kandla.
Sharing his thoughts on the issue Awasthi wrote” I took the complete tour of the newly built #oxygen plant at IFFCO’s Kalol unit. It is important for humanity to have the ready stock of Oxygen for any emergency use during the pandemic.”
It bears recall that at the time of the second wave of Covid-19, IFFCO had announced a plan to set up an oxygen plant at its unit based in Kalol, Aonla, Phulpur, and Paradeep. It is being said the inaugurated Kalol unit oxygen plant’s capacity is 200 Cubic Mtr/hr.
During his visit to the Kalol Unit, the IFFCO MD met the officials and took an overview of the project along with the unit head Deepak G Inamdar. He also took the round of the IFFCO Nano Urea and Ammonia Urea plants.
During his visit, Awasthi also interacted with the representatives of the Employee Union and Officers Association of IFFCO Kalol unit. “It was a great discussion with everyone. I am very happy to see that everyone is excited about new age Nano products by IFFCO”, he said soon after the meeting.
Earlier, during his two-day technical visit to the Aonla Plant, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi had taken stock of the situation of the Nano Urea unit being set up at the Aonla plant’s premises. It is said that once the plant is ready, the unit will produce about 2 lakh bottles of Liquid Nano Urea Fertilizer (500 ml each) per day.
