While Prime Minister Narendra Modi has made make in India as a major policy of the NDA government, the RBI governor cautioned against the same in media. Arguing on the prevailing situations of bearish mood in the global market Raghuram Rajan advocated policy of “make for India” as foreign market is vanishing.
Countering the RBI Governor the votaries of “make in India” argued that make in India does not exclude selling the products in domestic market and laughed off the argument of RBI Guv that Chinese economy has slowed down on account of retarded demand in the international market.
IFFCO, the pride of Indian cooperative movement, however buys both the arguments, argued Awasthi. Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted: “ #IFFCO not only makes in #INDIA but makes for #INDIA in our associate and JV’s in #Oman #Jordan and #senegal.”
Soon his followers lined up on twitter to congratulate him and one of them said “ @drusawasthi and IFFCO grew & flourishing under your able leadership. U r a true statesman.”
The overseas ventures of IFFCO are doing well and the fertilizer giant is looking at bright future, said an insider, referring to the confidence reflected in the latest tweet of the MD.
