While Corporates across the nation are busy getting their accounts audited for the last financial year 2014-15 , the cooperative giant IFFCO has emerged a clear winner. IFFCO got its accounts audited by mid-April- a rare feat any accountant will vouch for, said an IFFCO employee.
The man behind this timely completion of the job Mr Rakesh Kapur became the subject of one of the tweets of MD Dr U S Awasthi. Dr. U S Awasthi tweeted “ Congratulations to #RakeshKapur, Jt.MD & CFO @KapurRakesh and his #Finance team for finalising the #Audited #Accounts well before time.”
Paying his respects Rakesh Kapur replied to Awasthi through tweet “ @drusawasthi # Grateful! Task accomplished under your guidance, and systematic/ dedicated approach of IFFCO Team & Statutory Auditors.”
As reported in these columns earlier IFFCO has churned out impressive figures. The figures thrown at the closing of the year brought good news to the entire IFFCO family.
The turnover of the cooperative giant increased despite unfavourable domestic and global atmosphere. It rose to Rs 24700 crore this year earning a profit of Rs 1036 crore before tax.
