IFFCO Paradeep unit has won the prestigious Golden Peacock Environment Management Award 2013 for outstanding achievements in the field of Environment Management & Practices.
The award was presented on 19.7.2013 by Dr. M. Veerappa Moily, Union Cabinet Minister for Petroleum and Natural Gas & Justice (Dr.) Arijit Pasayat, Former Judge, Supreme Court during 15th World Congress on Environment Management & 24th Institute of Directors(IOD) Annual day held during 19th – 20th July, 2013 at The Ashok Hotel, New Delhi
On behalf of IFFCO Paradeep Unit, Sri S. Mohan, Dy. General Manager (Environment & Pollution Control) received this award.
Talking to Indian Cooperative G N Saxena, Director of Cooperative Relation at Iffco headquarters N Delhi said “ we try to follow all the stipulated parameters of environmental protection consistently. This award is a recognition of Iffco’s constant bid to preserve our fragile eco-system.”
