The Aonla unit of IFFCO has received the Sarva Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar in the manufacturing sector from National Safety Council of India. The award was presented by Minister of State for Labor and Employment Santosh Gangwar in a function organized in Delhi on Friday.
Besides IFFCO, 70 organisations in all were pronounced as winners of awards in four categories such as the Sarva Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar, the Shreshtha Suraksha Puraskar, the Suraksha Puraskar and the Prashansa Patra.
A jubilant MD Dr U S Awasthi lost no time sharing the good news on tweeter “Congratulations #IFFCO Aonla @GKGautam_iff & team for winning Golden trophy as Sarvashreshtha Suraksha Award in Manufacturing sector by National Safety Council of India.The award given by Shri Santosh Gangwar @santoshgangwar Minister of State for Labour & Employment. #SafetyFirst”.
The minister also shared the news through social media with photographs on honor bestowed on IFFCO-Aonla and wrote “NSCI Safety National level Awards in the field of occupational safety, health & environment and are given in recognition for effective Safety Management System, Excellent safety & Health performance by the organizations. Altogether 70 organizations have been pronounced as winners”. the minister wrote.
These awards are adjudged and declared every year by National Safety Council, India (NSCI), an autonomous society set up by the Ministry of Labour & Employment.
NSCI’s vision is to serve society by creating a preventive culture, scientific mindset and organised approach to issues.NSC ,as it is called also conducts specialised training Courses, Conferences, Seminars & Workshops all over the country.
