During the visit to Pantnagar in Uttarakhand in the Farmers’ Connect Campaign, IFFCO’s Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi focused on the newly adopted Digital Platform which claims to provide IFFCO’s products to farmers online. “It is a step towards Digital India – a dream project of Prime Minister Narendra Modi”, MD stressed.
Pantnagar was Dr Awasthi’s 116th destination during his connect farmers campaign. In Pantnagar, Dr. Awasthi said ”with the new digital platform in place farmers can buy urea, seeds, medicines and other agricultural inputs online. “We will link Bharat to India,” he said.
“IFFCO has laid the foundation of digital India. Farmers to enhance the self respect of India. The objective of IFFCO is to provide benefits to farmers who are the important part of food security”, he tweeted on the occasion.

Earlier, Awasthi had visited the Khatushyamji in Sikar District of Rajasthan where he spoke about new products and services IFFCO is offering to farmers.
Awasthi also worshiped Lord Shri Khatu Shyamji and prayed for everybody’s welfare
Prior to his trip to Khatu Shyamji, he squeezed his time to be able to hear Prime Minister speak on the occasion of the birth centenary of Laxman Rao Inamdaar at Vigyan Bhawan in New Delhi.
