Dharamsala is the winter capital of Himachal Pradesh was the 76th destination covered by IFFCO Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi during his farmers connect campaign. He utilized the opportunity to get feedback from farmers about cooperatives and their diverse activities.
Dharamsala is a city in Himachal Pradesh which is surrounded by cedar forests on the edge of the Himalayas. This hillside city is home to the Dalai Lama and the Tibetan government-in-exile. The Thekchen Chöling Temple Complex is a spiritual center for Tibetan Buddhism, while the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives houses thousands of precious manuscripts.

He congratulated the farmers and cooperators of the state on becoming part of this event. A large number of farmers listened to Dr Awasthi’s speech with rapt attention on the occasion.
Sharing the information through Social Media IFFCO MD tweeted “On the occasion of IFFCO Golden Jubilee I thanked farmers and cooperators of the state for participating in Dharamsala conference”.
He also felicitated cooperators as well as women cooperators of the state.
IFFCO also organized a free health checkup camp in Portblair in association with Gramin Health and Awasthi called for digitalization of the farming community.
Several young artists performed local folk dance in connection with his visit.
