Nellore a city in Andhra Pradesh was the venue chosen to organize the third board meeting of IFFCO on the occasion of the Golden Jubilee. A new office was also inaugurated on the occasion. It was also IFFCO MD’s 22nd destination in his “connect to farmers” campaign.
Readers would recall that earlier Nellore based IFFCO subsidiary IKSEZ had inked a pact with the subsidiary of Central Warehousing Corporation (CRWC) to develop integrated Rail side warehouse complex and freight terminal.
On his twitter wall IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi wrote “#IFFCO Board had its 3rd board meeting in #Nellore. Inaugurated new office of @iksez and Golden Plaque on occasion of #50yearsofIFFCO”.
MD posted several captivating photographs capturing the mood of the day. His tweet read “A group photograph capturing moments with #IFFCO Board with Golden Jubilee Plaque and outside @iksez office building. #50yearsofIFFCO.”
The board members visited units of various industries set up in IKSEZ. While one unit exports kitchen gardening material, the other makes Wings for windmills.
On the occasion, the IFFCO board members also visited the Holy city of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & took blessing of Lord Shri Venkateswara which is briefly described in MD’s tweet “Today visited Holy city of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams & took blessing of Lord Shri Venkateswara along with #IFFCO board. #50 years of IFFCO”.
As usual, MD also felicitated cooperators in Nellore. Welcoming Shri Kanchi Rama Rao, Chairman AP State Coop Markfed he said affection of cooperators helps in growth of IFFCO. Several cooperators of the area gathered to participate in IFFCO’s celebrations.
