Bareli turned into a cooperative fortress with hundreds of top notch cooperators, thousands of farmers from the area and an important minister of central govt assembling to witness the birth of IFFCO YUVA- a digital initiative aimed at skilling rural youth. The ambitious project was inaugurated by Union minister of state for Finance Santosh Gangwar.
India’s largest cooperative organization IFFCO joined hands with Youth4work- an online platform dedicated to improving the skills of the youth to launch ‘IFFCO YUVA’. IFFCO and its MD Dr U S Awasthi have been trying to make some decisive changes in the skill landscape in the countryside and the initiative reflects this effort said one of the Directors of IFFCO to this correspondent.

Echoing his words IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi said” “Inline with our Prime Minister Mr. Modi’s vision of Digital India and Skill India, IFFCO YUVA will help rural youth to boost their employability,” Dr. US Awasthi, MD and CEO of IFFCO said, quotes Times of India which covered the event in Bareli.

Explaining the importance of this initiative Times of India writes “Through this platform, young men and women in India’s villages can assess and improve their skills and aspire to better career opportunities. This platform is envisaged to be a single window to empower rural youth and help them in understanding which skills to develop in order to be more employable.”
The website Youth4work.com claims to be a ‘People Platform’ which empowers youth to assess themselves, improve their talents and showcase themselves for their talents and professional achievement. The core belief is that each individual is unique and always goes through a Journey of Identifying his/her true Talents, it notes.
Besides the launch of this prestigious project, the IFFCO team also held its 6th Board meeting in Aonla. In the wake of impressive financial report card for 2016-17, the Board members were in high spirits. They visited the plant and posed for group photographs.
