Fame India magazine has named IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi as one of the top 50 influential leaders in the country who make a difference in the life of individual and society. Interestingly, Dr U S Awasthi is the only person from the cooperative sector to have qualified for the honuor. He has the 40th rank in the list.

An awareness programs was organised by IFFCO at more than 1400 locations benefiting up to 6.5 Lakh people.
Dr Uday Shankar Awasthi Sir is a man behind the modern cooperative movement in India..He is the man of substance and connected with his roots..Today he is the only Force behind the success of IFFCO and all its subsidiaries….Mitti ki jaan kisaan ki shaan -IFFCO.
Dr US Awasthy has led IFFCO to new heights. His ability to assess people and align with anyone and everyone is salutary. He is one of the few heads of Indian public sector organizations who could carry the power of the day with him irrespective of their political affiliations. People may have difference of opinion on how he makes things happen but in the end what it did to the organization and where it is today in market reach and profitability is the key. While wishing him long life and continued accolades, I hope Dr Awasthy is working towards developing a successor like his predecessors did so that IFFCO will live and grow even after him. Once again congratulations!
