IFFCO in its 45th AGM doled a precise description out of action taken on suggestions made by delegates in the last AGM bolstering two-way communication.
A brochure titled “Action Taken on Suggestions” was distributed to each and every delegate so that they could know what happened to their suggestions. This is perhaps the first example of its kind in the cooperative world, a participant said.
The brochure contained two columns: while the left hand side stated the name and suggestion of the delegate, the right hand side depicted IFFCO’s response to it.
On a suggestion made by Manmohan Sarawgi, a delegate from Darbhanga in Bihar on “IFFCO should start banking business, the response was” Discussions are in progress for entering into NBFC business through one of the Affiliate companies.
Similarly on a suggestion made by Shashi Kant
Such suggestions as were not practical, responses were a polite no with details justifying them. As in the case of request for opening up Area Office in Durg, the ATR read” Durg is in close vicinity of Raipur and it is convenient to control the existing area from Raipur which is economical in the long run.”
Cooperators have hailed the healthy practice of distributing Action Taken Report on suggestions made during 44th AGM. “This introduces transparency giving us a fair idea of where we stand vis a vis our suggestions”, said Ashok Jagdap a delegate from Aurangabad.
