Paying glowing tributes to the IFFCO MD, Sanghani said “All these achievements of your Society are the result of Visionary, Innovative and Inspirational leadership of Dr. U.S. Awasthi, Managing Director, IFFCO teaming with a highly professional and motivated workforce. I am sure that his farsighted decision to implement multi-faceted initiatives to augment Farmers’ Welfare and take them to the Last Mile across the country will contribute effectively towards Nation Building.”
Speaking soon after the presidential speech, IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi said that it’s a matter of great pride that for the first time in the country, we have produced a fertilizer which is totally indigenous. Calling Nano futuristic Awasthi said that so far, we were dependent on imports but the arrival of Nano on the scene has changed the game. “It is a perfect example of self-reliant India, a dream seen by the Prime Minister.
Awasthi also exhorted the delegates to help popularize Nano in their respective areas and gave an example of a RGB from J&K who sells 500 to 1000 bottles everyday by moving around in his area on bicycle.
