Maintaining its legacy of 100 per cent placement, Vamnicom students from the batch of 2021-23 have all been placed successfully in different sectors of the economy with some getting as high as Rs16 lakh package, claims a release from the Premier Institute.
Vamnicom which has achieved 100% placement yet again this year got its students placed in Retail, FMCG, Finance, Agri-Input, Commodities and Research & Consultancy/AgriTech sector, with the average package of Rs. 8.76 lakhs.
Dr Jayalakshmi, Placement Director informed that 28 companies made offers for placement. Amongst Agribusiness sector, Big Basket, Reliance Retail, Ninjakart participated and offered placements.
Dr D Ravi,Joint Programme Director informed that cooperative sectors have taken keen interest in offering placements to VAMNICOM students. Out of 69 students, eight students will be joining NAFED, Amul and IFFCO in the Cooperative sector. The maximum package is Rs. 16.5 lakhs offered by IFFCO.
Banks like HDFC Bank, Federal Bank, ICICI Bank, IDBI Bank, Fullerton India Credit Company, Navdhan Capital, BFIL participated and offered placements. In the Agri-Input sector, IFFCO, Rallis India, DCM Shriram,Bayer Crop Science,Biostadt participated & offered placements. Students also got opportunities in Research & Consultancy companies like Farmsia, Q& Q Research Insights & JayKisan.
It bears recall that VAMNICOM offers a two years full time residential Post Graduate Diploma in Management – Agribusiness Management programme. The PGDM-ABM programme is recognized by All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and recognized by Association of Indian Universities as equivalent to MBA degree.
