Vamnicom conducts programme for women entrepreneurs called “Shakti”

To mark International Women’s Day, Centre of Entrepreneurship Development, VAMNICOM in collaboration with Global Synergizers, Farmscape Foundation, and India Accelerator – Impact Labs organised an event for one day at VAMNICOM, Pune on 10th March 2023 for women entrepreneurs working in the impact space from Pan India, reads a press release from the co-op institute.

A guidance and support provided by Director, VAMNICOM, Dr. Hema Yadav have channelized the event moves in a fruitful way and developed a synergy for the same.

Smt. Anuradha Jain, District Chairperson- Solid Waste and Education for All and Co-Author of UNSDGs Corporate Guide Book was the Chief Guest for the event, Prof.(Dr). K.Satya Lakshmi, Director, National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune and Smt. Anuradha Kurma, Former DGM, State Bank of India was the Guest of Honour for the programme. They encouraged the women entrepreneurs and their working ecosystem attire moves in their guest note address

The event had knowledge dissemination sessions on Organisational Behaviour, ESG & Sustainability, Social Entrepreneurial Management, Marketing-From Social Lens and Extended Producer Responsibility.

This event was designed to bring together women entrepreneurs working in the impact space and provide them with an opportunity to broaden their knowledge, and network, and present their pitch to the India accelerator.

The goal was to provide access to information and knowledge to these budding entrepreneurs and give an opportunity to the top 10 selected entrepreneurs to present their 2 mins – pitch.

Out of 10, 7 Women Entrepreneurs presented their pitch deck presentations on Technology Interventions, Supply Chain Management, Health and Wellness ecosystem, Recycling, Agriculture and Agribusiness, Institution Building-Cooperatives, Fashion etc. The top three finalists will be on-boarded by the India Accelerator for mentoring and funding support.

The event was organised in VAMNICOM campus, A total 52 women entrepreneurs and start-ups participated in the event from PAN India.
