A top government Official of Tamil Nadu has said the five profit making textile mills in the cooperative sector in the state would soon be modernized.
The state govt. has earmarked Rs 104 for the modernization of the mills.
In addition the govt has sanctioned Rs18 crore for reviving a mill lying closed in Ramanathapuram, official told the press while taking part in a conference organized by the Indian Cotton Federation in Coimbatore.
