The cooperative world is stunned by the sad demise of former Prime Minister of India Atal Bihari Vajpayee. Cutting across ideological lines, cooperative leaders have paid rich tributes to the departed leader.
Sahakar Bharati Chief Jyotindra Mehta was one of the firsts to express his profound grief. Mehta posted more than a dozen posts on Vajpayee remembering his greatness. He also posted a newspaper article on social media in which it was said that five economic decisions that Vajpayee took, propelled India to the path of growth and prosperity.
Mehta also shared a throwback photo on social media of his meeting with the former PM in a function organized by Rajkot based Vijay Cooperative Bank.
