With a view to expanding membership base, Sahakar Bharati held its divisional (sambhag) meeting in Udaipur last week to enroll at least ten thousand new members. Several top leaders including its patron Satish Marathe participated in it.
Informing through FB Marathe wrote “Chittor Sambhag meeting was last week held in Udaipur. Representatives from eight (out of 12) Districts attended the meeting held in the Kisan Bhv. , Shantilalji Sharma, President of the Sambhag presided over the meeting.
One of the activities included in the list of Sahakar Bharati’s proposed goal is to enroll member, for promoting, canvassing and spreading the Co-operative movement.
In this meeting also it was decided to enroll ten thousand members, organise Sambhag and District level Abyasvargs, organise at least one SHPI in each District and organise Member Education Progs in all Districts.
Give training in Co-operation and developing model Co-operative societies are some of the other goals Sahakar Bharati is aiming at. It also pledges to guide Co-operative societies and help them solve their problems.
Speaking on the occasion Satish Marathe appealed to the Karyakartas to tour, organise meetings, plan and execute programmes in the ensuing Centenary Year of Man Laxmanrao Inamdar, commencing from 21st September, 2016.
Besides Marathe , Samman Singh, Pradeep Choubisa, Hanuman Prasad, Geeta Patel, Shantilal , Mukeshji Modi , Pramod Samar and others participated.
