Sahakar Bharati’s, UP Chapter is organizing a high voltage seminar on the present situation of PACCs in Uttar Pradesh today on 6 March 2020 which will be inaugurated by UP Cooperative Minister Mukut Bihari Verma.
The seminar will be organized at the Chaudhary Charan Singh Sahakarita Bhawan Auditorium, Lucknow. The guest of honour would be IFFCO MD Dr U S Awasthi.Sahakar Bharati President Ramesh Vaidya, National General Secretary Uday Joshi and others will also attend the seminar.
RBI Director Satish Marathe would be the keynote speaker and function will be presided over by Uttar Pradesh State Cooperative Bank Chairman Tejveer Singh.
Talking to Indian Cooperative, Sahakar Bharati, UP SangathanPramukhRajdutt Pandey said, ” All dignitaries have confirmed their participation and we are busy giving the final touches to the event. Over 500 representatives’ from the cooperative sector will participate in the event, he said.
“There are 7479 PACCs societies in Uttar Pradesh and we are expecting that 4-5 representatives’ of cooperatives from each district will participate in this seminar. During the seminar, detailed discussions will be held on the present situation of PACCs societies, he underlined.
He added that there are many issues such as nonpayment of salaries to the employees of PACCs societies, the government distributing urea through cooperative channels, the government encouraging co-ops to diversify their business and many other issues will come up for thorough discussions in the seminar, he informed this correspondent on the phone.
