Gujarat State Cooperative Union (GSCU),Ahmedabad, Gujarat is organizing a Cooperative Convention-2019 on 1st March, 2019 Friday at Preksha Vishwa Bharti, Koba in Gandhinagar. The convention would be presided by Ghanshyambhai Amin, Chairman.
The theme of the convention is “Role of Cooperative Institutes in Doubling of Farmers’ Income” on the lines of PM Narendra Modi vision of Doubling of Farmers’ Income by the year 2022, read a press release sent by the state union. It is also aimed at contributing to the concerted efforts of Government of India, the release added.
“Vijay Rupani, Chief Minister of Gujarat shall inaugurate the convention. The function will also be graced by the august presence of Parshottam Rupala, Union Minster for State for Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare as Chief Guest. Ishwarsinh Patel, Minsiter of Cooperation, Gujarat State will also grace the function as Chief Guest”, claims a press release.
Besides Dilipbhai Sanghani, Chairman-NAFSCOB, Narharibhai Amin, Vice-Chairman Planning Commission, Gujarat State, Sunil Kumar Singh, Vice-Chairman, NAFED, Sanjay Prasad(IAS), Additional Chief Secretary, Cooperation, GOG, Mohmmad Sahid(IAS),Secretary-Agriculture and Cooperation, GOG,Shri Sunil Chawla ,Chief General Manager-NABARD,Shri Paban Kumar Borthakur-Chairman,APEDA will also grace the above convention as Guest of Honors. The Convention will also be attended by more than 5000 delegates representing various cooperative institutes across the State of Gujarat, the release added.
On this occasion an informative and knowledge enhancing souvenir will also be released so as to enable cooperative leaders to guide the farmers to achieve the target of Doubling of Farmers’ Income by 2022.
The seminars on the related subject will be also held in the second session of convention which will be addressed by subject experts.
