At the start of every New Year, IFFCO’s Managing Director Dr U S Awasthi has been penning down letters narrating the fertilizer cooperative’s achievements and the challenges confronting it. This year IFFCO rides high on the success of Nano Urea with the operation of three-Nano urea plants and moving towards launching Nano DAP.
In his New Year message, the IFFCO MD lays emphasis on adopting the new age technology in daily routine activities. “I would like to share that we have moved our conventional Data Centre from Saket to a highly advanced & secured, scalable oracle-based cloud infrastructure at Mumbai, hence we have enhanced the IT security”, he added.
Awasthi also informed about the dedicated website for IFFCO Nano Urea which is available in 11 Regional languages & 7 foreign languages.
Besides, the MD sketches the role IFFCO is playing in achieving the PM’s vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi”.

I hope the New Year 2023 marks the brightest beginning of a wonderful Year and bring success & happiness for all of you.
I want to take a moment back and Thank you for all the accomplishments and achievements for the year 2022. The year 2022 has been a great year as IFFCO’s revolutionary product World’s first Nano Urea gained wide scale acceptability & success throughout the Nation by the farmers. We crossed the sale of 4.5 crore Nano Urea bottles as of 31st December 2022. I’m happy to share that we have successfully commissioned two more Nano Urea Plants at IFFCO Aonla and IFFCO Phulpur in Uttar Pradesh. Soon, we will be launching IFFCO Nano DAP also. Our efforts were recognized and highly praised by the Hon’ble Prime Minister during the inauguration of PM Kisan Sammelan 2022 held at New Delhi. I would like to add that IFFCO is also committed to the PM’s vision of “Sahkar se Samriddhi” and is dedicated towards strengthening the Cooperative movement across the country under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Union Minister of Home and Cooperatives Sh. Amit Shah Ji.
IFFCO was again ranked 1st among the top 300 cooperatives of the world by World Cooperative Monitor, ICA this year. This is a moment of pride for the society & entire cooperative fraternity of India. We at IFFCO work towards serving the cooperatives & farmers.
IFFCO’s step towards Sustainable Agriculture in form of Nanotechnology has been a historic landmark for the Fertilizer sector this past year. IFFCO Nano Urea had a positive impact on the Agri-food Sector minimizing problems on environment, human health, thus ensuring good productivity & food security. This was all possible due to the commitment and hard work of IFFCO’s R&D team at IFFCO Nano Biotechnology Research Centre (NBRC) at our Kalol plant Scientists/Agro-Scientists, Engineers and the Marketing along with Nano Ventures Team. Our work towards increasing the production of Nano Urea & other Nano Products is moving very fast in all manufacturing units. We now have a dedicated web site for IFFCO Nano Urea which is available in 11 Regional language & 7 foreign languages.

I am also happy to share that IFFCO is also working on several New Age highly advanced technologies which will help in increasing plant productivity and enhanced availability of nutrients to plants thus, empowering farmers towards higher profits.
I would like to wish a very Happy New Year 2023 to our Chairman Sh. Dileep Sanghani, our Vice- Chairman Sh. Balvir Singh, all the Directors on the Board of IFFCO and RGB members & thank them for their continued support and guidance during the year 2022
I would also like to thank all the employees of IFFCO, IFFCO Employees Union and IFFCO Officers Association for their commitment, hard work & constant support to the management during 2022.
