KSSFCL’s Personality Development training concludes in Bengaluru

The valedictory ceremony for the 10-day Personality Development training program, organized by the Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL) from December 2 to December 11, 2024, concluded at the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM), Bengaluru.

Sharanagouda G. Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL, presided over the event. He highlighted the remarkable growth of the Souharda Cooperative Movement in Karnataka, which now boasts 6,407 cooperatives, with over 5,000 actively functioning.

Patil encouraged cooperatives to operate as financial entities serving their local communities, thereby playing a significant role in sustainable national development.

Lakshmipathaiah, Additional Registrar of Cooperatives and Secretary of Karnataka State Cooperative Federation, delivered the valedictory address. Reflecting on the 120-year legacy of Indian cooperatives, he lauded their contributions to the nation’s economic and social progress and emphasized their potential to contribute to a developed India (Viksit Bharat).

Dr. Suresh, Director of RICM, also addressed the gathering, emphasizing the importance of training and education in the growth of the cooperative movement. He commended KSSFCL for its dedication to organizing such programs for the benefit of cooperative employees.

The event featured the distribution of prizes to winners of activities conducted during the training, as well as certificates for all 51 participants representing 42 cooperatives from 19 districts across Karnataka.

Participants expressed their gratitude, describing the program as insightful and transformative for their personal development. A memento of appreciation was presented by the participants to KSSFCL, which was received by Sharanagouda G. Patil.

The ceremony began with a prayer and a warm welcome for the guests. Shivakumar Biradar, Training Officer, provided a brief overview of the program.

The event concluded with participants honouring the dignitaries and sharing their positive feedback on the training experience.
