The Karnataka State Souharda Federal Cooperative Ltd. (KSSFCL) organized a 10-day Personality Development Training Program for employees of Souharda Cooperatives at the Regional Institute of Cooperative Management (RICM) in Bengaluru.
The training was conducted from December 2 to December 11, 2024, and aimed at enhancing the professional capabilities of the participants.
Inaugurating the program, Sri S.N. Arun Kumar, Additional Registrar of Cooperative Societies, Bengaluru, emphasized the unique nature of the training. Highlighting the importance of the topics covered and the experienced faculty leading the sessions, he stated that the program is a vital initiative for the holistic development of cooperative employees.
The event was presided over by Sri G. Nanjana Gowda, President of KSSFCL, who underscored the importance of such training for the growth of Souharda societies. He urged participants to utilize the knowledge gained during the program to become valuable assets to their respective organizations.
Sri Suresh P.N., Regional Director of RICM and Chief Guest for the event, commended KSSFCL for organizing the comprehensive training. He described it as an opportunity for participants to gain well-rounded knowledge and encouraged them to maximize the benefits of the sessions.
The program commenced with an introductory speech by Sri Sharangouda G. Patil, Managing Director of KSSFCL, who welcomed the attendees and outlined the objectives of the training initiative.
A total of 50 participants from 38 Souharda Cooperative Societies across 19 districts, along with two representatives from the Federal Cooperative, took part in the training. The program aimed to equip them with skills that would not only enhance their individual efficiency but also contribute to the growth and effectiveness of their cooperative societies.
The 10-day training covered a variety of topics designed to improve communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence in Souharda Cooperatives. The initiative reflects KSSFCL’s commitment to capacity building and professional development in the cooperative sector.
The program concluded on a positive note, with participants expressing gratitude for the opportunity to engage in an enriching learning experience.
